Tea anyone?

I do like a good cup of tea in the morning but not from this little pot. I bought this in a small town in China many years ago, it is made of some kind of stone and would only give me a thimble full of tea as it is very small.

Any geologists out there who can tell me what stone it is made from? Turquoise? Surely not; it cost flumpence.

Today is the day l do my last test, l will do it before breakfast, when l get up, l have looked out the window and there is a deep frost coating the park and cars.

Weatherwise: clear blue skies at 10am 0°C, feels like -3.
