Ice breaker

The sun shone but the air had a nip in it and it was chilly in the shade .
Our small boy had a job to do though and wasn’t deterred by the cold.
His bike became an ice breaker and he worked hard to break up the ice in every puddle . The dog , meanwhile, swam in the various streams and pools demanding stones to be thrown . We Were glad to be layered up in our winter togs .
It’s always a joy to be outside in the elements . More wintry weather today is on its way I hear !
