Away with last year’s darkness

It’s Twelfth Night, Driekoningen, the end of the Christmas days. In Italy it’s the day of La Befana,  the witch who brings sweets to the children and who uses her broom to sweep away anything bad remaining from last year. I’ve used the fairy lights in the 2021 Christmas tree for the last time and combined it with a motion blur image of one of our brooms. Double exposured in Snapseed and then added an overlay with some extra rays of light in Pixlr. Out with the darkness, in with the light :-)

Please tag your entries for Abstract Thursday with AT341, so I can find them over the weekend.

Thanks very much for the kind comments, stars and even hearts for yesterday’s witchhazel images
