A Dismal Day with A Surprise

It had stopped snowing by the time had to go to the dentist in Kendal. But it was grey and damp which matches Kendal, its a grey  town. 
I was preparing to send the compact camera off for a service because its been showing an error message every time I've turned it on for the last two weeks.  Well, the guy in Wilkinsons turned it on, no error message and its been fine since!   I took this shot of grey Kendal outside the shop. You can just see the ruins of the castle peeking out on the right of the top of the lamppost.  That  was the surprise  - no service bill, just a guy with magic fingers.
