An evening out

Ventured out this evening to St Leonards on sea for a meal at a hipster style wine bar/restaurant with R, her sister A, and A’s partner S. Some hesitation because of high Omicron rates but we wanted to celebrate a new job for S and a new role for me, which will start in March/April. The food was a triumph of style over flavour and I didn’t get to experience the wine as I was the designated driver, but the staff were pleasant and it made a change from watching Netflix.
