Early light in Verbier

I went back to sleep for a bit after this, we'd had such a good night.

And then there wasn't much time for anything other than coffee and a croissant before we hit the road. What a place it is though!

Diving across Switzerland we had hours of fun with place names and the smell of cows, cheese and other such childish stuff. Lunch in a town somewhere near Gruyere and then finally over the border into Germany. We revisited (for me after 40 years) Freiburg and had a sausage of course, but then decided to push on a bit.

Wonderful, wonderful Baden Baden! The Russians have taken over a bit, but we loved it, stayed in a really lovely, friendly hotel, had a great walk around the beautiful streets and gardens and then a good meal before crashing.
