Wind protection

There was an icy wind blowing this morning and not too many people out and about.  I guess these cushions are still a bit wet from all the rain, and not even a bit of sun was enough to get the guys out to enjoy and catch up.

Bahrain recorded 1,515 new cases, 2 fatalities and 351 recoveries today.

MORE than 5,500 new Covid-19 cases were identified during the past week, more than double the number registered during the week prior.

Covid cases pass 300 million mark as Omicron continues to surge.
In the past seven days, 34 countries have recorded their highest number of weekly cases since the start of the pandemic,
13.5 million cases in the last week alone — 64 per cent higher than the previous seven days — the global average of deaths dropped three per cent.

Australia - reported 116,025 new cases, smashing the previous day's record of just over 78,000

The United States reported 662,000 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, the fourth highest daily U.S. total, 
U.S. Covid hospitalisations approached 123,000, appearing poised to top the record above 132,000, 
 Deaths, a lagging indicator, remain fairly steady at about 1,400 a day, well below last year's peak.
