Blast

There was some early snow but luckily it was a work at home day so I didn’t have a disrupted commute. 

Much of the snow had gone by the time I went out for my walk, but there were still icy conditions underfoot. 

As with any cold blast, the birds were scrabbling around for food, which may be why this female Chaffinch was being a little more confiding than usual down in the woods. There was a think skin of ice on Red Brick Dam.
