Singing in the Grand Place, Brussels

This is a group of children (probably high schoolers) in the Grand Place (Grote Markt in Flemish), in the center of Brussels, Belgium. Bordered by historical buildings, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The group were singing and turning in a ring, among other things. You get very little sense of how marvelous are the elaborate buildings around them, but I may get there again tomorrow, hopefully with better light. It was early evening, cold (3°C) and windy--certainly below zero with wind chill.

We found a wonderful Italian restaurant for dinner. We had arrived by fast train from Paris (less than 90 minutes) in early afternoon.

For the moment the location is very inaccurate--the map was slow--I'll correct it tomorrow.
