‘Buggies - Waiting for the Off’

parkrunday again today.

The prom at Edinburgh parkrun is generally pretty wide. However to avoid a bit of a crush at the start, runners and walkers with babies and young children in buggies have their own separate start along a path, parallel to the main prom, that joins up with it a bit further on, when the field has thinned out a bit.

Everyone is welcome at parkrun, all ages, all shapes and sizes, all abilities, runners, joggers, walkers and (especially) volunteers, families with young children, people with dogs -  all taking part in what has become a global phenomenon with around over 700 5 kilometre events in the UK - and nearly 2000 worldwide.
