End of the Line

Wharf station all quiet with the railway closed for the month.   Not a Covid issue, January is usually a month where all public facing operations shut down.   

Another dull, windy, sometimes wet day.   Another day when the sun put in an appearance late afternoon as Meg and I set out.   Perfect timing for a gentle walk in the lanes around the edge of town.   It was almost dark when we got home but already the days feel longer .... because they are :-)

I've had a fairly lazy day.  Did give the fridge a long overdue thorough clean.   Cooked a home-made chicken pie for tea,  Roasted butternut squash and made a baked sponge pudding - well when the oven's already on you have to, don't you!
