Mom and Dad

I do know that an 800 mm is not a good lens for portraits, but I had taken mom and dad for a drive and then a walk along the river at Frenchman's Bar County Park.  They had wandered on ahead while I was photographing a family of flickers, I turned around and they were waiting for me.  When I pointed the lens at them they tipped their heads together and smiled.  I had to make this my blip over any bird.  I am lucky to have parents still so in love at 91 and 85.  They are so kind and good to everyone they meet, I give thanks for that.
