Locks

Today we made our way from Skipton, via an awful lot of locks, to Bank Newton and moored at the top of the six that mark that last ascent. This is the inside of one set of lock gates taken from the boat. It was pretty windy on the top, too, but we took Hector for a stroll along the canal later, where he showed absolutely no interest in the hordes of lambs that were cavorting in the adjoining fields despite the cold.
