Hoarwithy Walk

A lovely sunny day as forecast, we did a 4.5 mile circular walk, less than 15 minutes from home, from Harewood End, Nr Ross on Wye, to Hoarwithy. The main photograph is of Mrs BB on the footpath at Redbrook Farm, Hoarwithy where a flock of friendly sheep came to say 'hello'.

The extra is inside St Catherine's church, Hoarwithy. It's not as old as it looks! The original dates from 1840 but in 1854 it was 'beautified' into a Italianate Romaneque byzantine style that makes it look a lot older!
