See the seaweed!

After a horrible drive down to Troon in heavy rain with lots of surface water, I was keen to go down to the beach while the tide was still out.

The sight that greeted us was a new one to both of us, even though Gill has lived in Troon for several decades: most of the beach covered in seaweed!

There were plenty people out enjoying the fresh air, but the wind was Baltic, so once I'd taken a few photos, we didn't linger and luckily made it home just before the heavens opened again.
