Got lucky

We don’t get very cold winters here in Georgia and after 9 years living in Minnesota for that I am very grateful.
That said, I realise that what I struggle with most at this time of year is the lack of colour in my natural surroundings.
Our winter palette here is predominantly greys ( of the trees) and red/orange ( the clay soil and the dead leaves and grasses).
On a sunny day, with a beautiful blue sky that can be stunning but without the sun sometimes I feel like we are living in a sepia film!
Today it was so grey it was more a Black and white.
