These are the days...

Oh, what a day!!

We had a lot of things happen today... and a lot of potential blips. It was really hard to decide. I really wanted a picture of our May Day fun, but the lighting was harsh and I didn't get any shots worthy of blipping! Then, I took some beautiful pictures of the May Day tulips Josh left on the doorstep this morning, but couldn't bring myself to blip a tulip when I had other cute kid pics to choose from.

Alas, I decided on this picture of Tyler, dressed to play football, but playing soccer and loving every minute. We went over and played with good friends this morning and the boys had a blast playing football, soccer, swinging, etc! They definitely have different ideas about how to play the games, but they seem to manage pretty well.

After our play date, we came home and made a few Mayday baskets and delivered them to neighbors. The kids would run, put the baskets up, knock on the door and run away. They loved it. Although, Hannah was a bit disturbed about leaving her basket there. At one point in time, she actually ripped it down from the door, not about to leave it there. The one house where we were caught, the familyi doesn't speak English, Hannah was appauled that they hauled her basket in the house. Boy, it was a confusing stop!

We played a lot outside and ended the evening with date night, where the kids go and play with other kids while parents go on a date. Tonight was our night to stay and help with the kids and our kids were thrilled about that. They had the time of their lives. Tyler played football and tag and ran around for 2 1/2 hours straight. Mia had a quieter evening but got lots of attention from the big girls and loved it! The only negative was Mia had a pee accident while on the top part of the jungle gym. I was so relieved no kids were standing right under her. I would have been MORTIFIED!

I'm up late, gearing up for Kelly's shower tomorrow, which should be fun fun fun! I can't wait!
