Fading To White

Overcast days in snow are tough for photography, everything is so flat and featureless. I walked gingerly to the marsh, wanting to avoid slipping, with visions of breaking my camera. I rather liked the subtle textures of what I think are the remains of Marsh Marigolds that I found there.

With a shallow dof I was able to isolate a few leaves which seems gives them more prominence. A few of the shots had too much dead space in one corner or another, but here I feel I got the balance about right. I'm finding the images are very blue when I review them and need a lot more white balance correction than usual.
