Bar-tailed Godwit

Well that's what my bird ID app says it is.

Went for a walk with V today. It was cold and miserable along the causeway towards Portland. Too far to walk really and the aches reminded me of that constantly.

We stopped for coffee and cake on the homeward bound leg of our walk at the Chesil Beach visitor centre. The centre over-looks the Fleet lagoon where I was able to capture this image before we headed home.
