Bergenia

It has been a really dreich day, as we say here in Scotland, murky, cold and wet. I did venture out for a walk but was reluctant to expose my camera to the elements so today's blip was taken on the doorstep. The bergenia doesn't mind the Scottish winter weather. The leaves are the most amazing colours and they gleam in the rain.
The extra is a clever male blackbird who discovered that he could reach the fat ball feeder by standing on the fence. This was inspired by MOLOH's entry yesterday.
