SEBO RIP

This morning I thought it was about time to do some housework, as I hadn't done any serious cleaning since last year.
Unfortunately, after vacuuming a couple of rooms, the SEBO vacuum cleaner lost power, emitted a burning smell, and died.  Here it is lying in state on the kitchen floor. We reckon it is over thirty years old, which suggests either SEBO know how to make long lasting appliances, or that ours has led  a charmed, leisurely, life; probably a combination of the two.
Anyway, being in mourning for the SEBO seemed as  good excuse as any to postpone further housework to another  day...

When I  went to order a new one on-line, I discovered we are now on to Series 7. Our old one was only a Series 4!
