The Map Room Remains

This is an EB as all I did today was go to my ‘Prancing’ class.
Last week our drama group had a rehearsal in an underground room at Shanklin Theatre. During the war the room had been used by the Civil Defence as a Map Room. There is still a large map of the Isle of Wight on the wall and the corner contains a uniform, gas mask and radio. I didn’t notice the addition of the blue paper towel roll and remote control until afterwards when I was home.
