Gnome Home

Sunny but cold. High was 37 deg F. Will get down to 21 deg F tonight. Hubby had an early follow up appointment with his surgeon. He was gone before I was awake. Doc said he is progressing wonderfully; the snap, crackle and pop sounds are actually healing in action. When he returned, we started to “undecorate” and made good progress. After lunch, hubby went to PT and to get his meds. I went to school to get Mancil who had a telemed appointment at his house. While there, I couldn’t resist getting a shot of these adorable gnomes. My daughter is keeping up their decorations until her in-laws can visit, hopefully in a few weeks. Our county is handing out free KN95 masks at our libraries, five per person. I picked up a package while I was out. They will be good to use if we get to take our trip to Germany this summer. We decided the rest of the taking down/putting away can wait until tomorrow. Hubby will pick up Italian dinners for us so it’s Kindle time. No updates on the sick relatives which is probably good news. Our county had less than 200 cases in the last 24 hours but low numbers are typical on Sundays. Thanks for stopping by. “A little child, a limber elf, / Singing, dancing to itself, / A fairy thing with red round cheeks, / That always finds, and never seeks, / Makes such a vision to the sight / As fills a father's eyes with light.” - Samuel Taylor Coleridge
