Bluebird Bell

Another long Monday leaving home and returning in the dark. I was expecting a harder day than I got, so I won't complain. I'll save that for tomorrow when the car won't start and the fuel line into the house freezes.

On cheerier note, I'm going to document this little bell in the window. I'm not exactly sure how bluebirds came to be associated with happiness, but this one does add frequent little micro-doses of joy into our routine. Hanging on the curtain rod here, it naturally tends to ring whenever the curtains are opened or closed. It has a bright, clear tone that I associate with morning time and sunlight streaming through the window.
