Thirty Minutes Before Sunrise

Is when today’s entry was taken.

I was out and about on the Dawn Patrol and awaiting the delivery from Sainsbury’s. He arrived about 5 minutes after this photo was taken.

As is normal, I usually exchange quite a few thoughts with the driver as we deal with the transfer of groceries from the truck to my crates.

He was a young man of about 30. Covid is always a major theme. He told me he had caught Covid the week before the appointment for his first vaccination.

He had been taken into hospital, and gone through the assisted breathing and ventilation treatment. It had been very unpleasant. 

The Doctor in charge of his treatment, stated that if he delayed seeking treatment by only 3 days, it is likely he would not have recovered.

This is a man, who is fit and who takes plenty of exercise. His recovery has taken many months. He has received his first two vaccinations and is due to receive his Booster shortly.

Today looks to be a very pleasant day. There was no red sky this morning.
