Great bird spotting this morning along the Clyde Coastal Path at Newshot Island Nature Reserve. Lovely to see so many species in a relatively small stretch of the Clyde near Erskine. I chose the flying heron as my main because of its feet which I think look extraordinary but on any other day would have been happy to use any of the photos in the extra as my main. We also saw cormorants swimming and diving and a seal in the water.
Extra: a flock of lapwing, a grey heron, two mute swans, an oystercatcher, and a redshank.
