Film - The Lost Daughter.
Too complex a portrait of motherhood for me, after an overlong, frequently confusing and very slow reveal, I was ultimately left bewildered as Olivia Coleman (excellent as always, and almost managing to carry this rather self indulgent film) had a breakdown, on a beach, eating an orange…?!
Bit harsh really - Mrs d loved it.
