Pitcairn Woodland

Today Geordie, Amber and I set off to Glenrothes and found our way to Pitcairn Centre, Fife Coast and Countryside Trust, at the top of the town. The woodland is managed by The Woodland Trust.
There are paths in all directions, so we picked one and followed it to Rhind Hill Trigpoint, then set off easterly until we found Coul Reservoir, where the swans were swimming while the ducks were walking on water, or at least that’s what it looked like.
We walked around the reservoir before heading back to the car park.
Our walk was almost four miles, but it felt a lot further because it was up and down hill, and through lots of mud, which was certainly not “glorious”, although I felt like I was wallowing at times.
