Bach to the Future

My daughter is quite a competent cellist. But the pace at which life goes these days means that usually, practice is a rushed chore, in between homework and dinner, or dinner and bed. And at the age she is, there are lots of other tempting distractions that compete with time spend refining her skills. But just occasionally, the sun shines through that corner window, we have nowhere else to be and nothing else to do, her phone is muted, and she focuses - in this case, on Bach's Suite No 1, Minuet I and II. And I feel lucky, not only to be her father, but to be able to listen to such a beautiful thing, if only for a moment before YouTube wins her attention again.
