feeding frenzy...

We had heavy rain for most of the day - it was dark and dreary!  As soon as it stopped there was a feeding frenzy - these little red backed Mannikins were enjoying the bird seed!  There were waxbills and weavers waiting but it could be a long wait!!

Unfortunately the lady I travelled with to Malawi has been admitted to hospital today with low oxygen levels - I really hope it is not covid!  I am feeling much better today and it would just be awful if she has it now!
