Nene otters

Today it was my turn to see one of the otters which are becoming regulars in this spot, teeming with fish. Out for an impromptu afternoon walk with a friend and we had the excitement of watching this one catch a fish, climb out onto the bank to eat it and then have a heron after its fish croak at it and chase it back into the water.
