A windy day

This little creek crosses the front of our lake section on its way down to the lake and we cross it between several clumps of ponga (tree ferns) on either side of the little footbridge that Dr D built some years ago.
The wild wind has had white caps on the lake all day and even wee waves breaking on the shore of our normally sheltered bay, so I didn't go for a swim today...waves slapping in one's face less than pleasant. The Met Office is warning of Cyclone Cody sweeping down the East coast of the North Island and across the Bay of Plenty during the next three days so that will make for a windswept view.
