Looking through a reflection

A visit to a skin specialist took up the morning. Reassured that what I had presumed on no sensible grounds to be a benign cyst, is indeed so. Back to the virtual world of meetings by Zoom.

The first such meeting this afternoon was the Police liaison meeting. Which I chair. And which I had forgotten about, until I looked at my timetable as to what was on this afternoon. And discovered it was starting just then.

I took the opportunity at the end of the meeting to say how much I had gained from the meetings and that this will be my last. My contract finishes in three weeks. And for the first time in four years I will not be extending it.

Not that I am being put out to grass, so to speak. I will be working elsewhere in the system, in a quite different role.

Two tantalising pieces of information. One from the Police Senior Sergeant in the meeting, that the report into a Co-Response service (like is in place in Birmingham) has been released, and he could say that the review of it was very positive. Something to help one feel hopeful for the future. The other is the result of a retrospective study of lithium use. I need to meet with the pharmacists next week.

Tired by all the 'excitement' I sat and pondered what to do for a blip, and S showed na photo she had taken with her phone camera. The Pentax produced an image less appealing than hers, so I used my phone and here it is with just a little judicious cropping.
