Witch Hazel and moss

A super walk through the Seattle Arboretum today. Best was the winter garden, in which we found blooming camellias, witch hazels of various colors and fragrances, cyclamen, and a curious plant called Edgeworthia (extra). I remembered the name by thinking of energia. :) Pics look better large. It was a drizzly and enjoyable outing, and the view of the Cascades as I drove back across the 520 floating bridge was breathtaking.
