'street photography'

Another great day in London, still freezing though, just plain strange!

Went to the Design Museum, which is probably one of most favourite places in the world. They had their annual Design Awards 2012 showcase on and it was inspirational to say the least. The best in design/furniture/architecture/web/apps/print/fashion/products/signage/books etc etc etc - just the most inspiring ideas for the future.

From tiny printers that need no ink (they print out your to-do list that you've tapped into your smart phone), a natural coating that allows ketchup to slide out of a bottle, glasses for school children in developing countries where the prescription is changed easily through injected liquid into the 'glass', rehydration kits designed to fit in the gaps within Coca Cola crates (so they are easily and cheaply distributed)...I could go on but there was so many wonderful examples of true innovation...

Then it was lunch with my banker brother in Canary Wharf (now that is a different world!), back to the Design Museum (yes we all loved it so much) and then a walk through the Tower of London area - where I caught this scene - Street Photography maybe?!!!

While everyone enjoyed a rest, Sienna danced with herself and I snapped away until the security guard chased us all away!

With a sign we left the big city and travelled up to the far North - where as Sienna pointed out even our local Asda isn't as crowded and as busy as London is - a fair comparison indeed!
