A nice suprise

Another fine but brisk day for sitting outside in wait for the garden birds to begin their merry dance of feeding, or in the case for the great tit and coal tit, early exchanges of mating calls.  And the great tit sporting a frightfully bright yellow breast.
What i didn't expect however, was to see our not so regular nuthatch make an appearance almost upside down on our neighbours cordyline tree.
