Ferguson

I went to buy some coal today. That’s not the interesting bit. The guy who sells coal is a serial tinkerer. His yard has all manner of half dismantled cars and engines and other incomplete projects.

His latest is this radio. I really hope he does manage to sort this one. It’s a lovely thing and I would love to hear it working. Apparently the valves warm up ok, but the tuning dial needs attention. Can’t be that tricky if you know what you’re doing.
