At Easthaven

9.7C with almost completely blue sky. Light breeze. Feeling warm.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went to Easthaven beach this morning for a change. We were disappointed. It was strewn with all sorts of things that have washed up from the sea over the winter. I was hoping Maeve might get to run about, but we took a short towards Arbroath on the shore path instead. As we headed back to the car we stopped by the Easthaven boats (there were even fewer than last time we went) and I found today's blip on the red tractor they have there..

After lunch we went round our usual walk. With the breeze almost non existent it was pleasantly warm in the sun. No hat, no gloves, lighter jacket.

When we were walking up off the beach at Westhaven we met the owner of 'Shamara II' heading towards the Fishermen's huts. "This is more like it!" he pronounced, with a big grin on his face. We readily agreed :-)
