Cherry-picking’ time?

Yesterday a large delivery van reversed into the lampost over the road from my gaff…twice and so hard the pole shook dangerously. So loud was the preceding incompetent revving and incompetent manoeuvring that my head popped up to the study window like a meerkat. 

I dropped the council a brief missive about it, suggesting an early check of the ‘street furniture’ might be a good idea, blow me if they weren’t out this morning doing a full inspection.

Now, what else can I whinge about…. ;-))
