Sugar Coated

There's no sugar coating the glacial temperatures. There was also a pea-souper blanket of freezing fog lying across the village until mid-morning, making for an eerie atmosphere. Today's walk was taken very carefully and it was good to get home to the central heating and a pot of coffee.
