Rochester High Street - on the last day of winter?

Our good friends Al and Liz came over for the day today. True to form the weather was cold and wet so we decided to go to Rochester and look at the Guildhall Museum.

It's a very good little muesum, depicting the life of the Medway Towns in its role as a Naval stronghold and it's connections with Dickens.

The High Street still boasts many of the buildings featured in Dicken's books and has a good feeling to it - just as well really as the rest of the area is the same as anywhere else
