Another golden day

The high pressure over this part of the UK is bringing us glorious blue skies but before they arrive we are treated to a wonderful golden light which lasts about 5 minutes.

The photo shows Alexandra Palace and its transmitter tower in the distance from our lounge window.

Weatherwise: at 10am 4°C, feels like 1, a high of 6. No rain.
Unfortunately the high pressure and no breeze all means we are also getting record levels of pollution and the elderly are being encouraged not to go out and for people not to do violent exercise. Today the papers are asking us not to use our cars or light wood fires.
