Swans and Geese

In the event, there would have been no point in getting to Dishley Pool for sunrise. Fog cloaked everything.

We met an excited five year old whose Grandad was going to show him the frozen lake. The pool was only frozen right over at the southern end, the fog obscured the water to the north.

All the vegetation was covered with a thin layer of hoar frost.

A flock of Canada geese flew in noisily and landed on the water. The three swans continued gliding serene.
