All About The Girl

We had intended to visit Bayham Abbey, it was very foggy with a hint of it lifting just enough to get a good moody shot. But when we arrived our way was blocked by another car - and the entrance to the abbey was firmly SHUT. The other driver came over and we discussed the issue. We all agreed that the English Heritage website had told us it was OPEN. We unilaterally scratched our heads wondering where to go now (it had been an hour's drive).


Mr K and I decided that nearby Scotney Castle was a good alternative (turns out the other group had the same idea). The only problem? The light. 


We had planned on Scotney for Monday as the weather was more promising. We needed our good friend, the sun, to light the sky but she wasn't playing ball. Ah well, we made the best of it and got some very nice shots.


And then she decided to treat us, just briefly, but it was enough! She turned on the lights just for a moment and then she was gone.
