Saturday: Knitting a Cake!

Grey, damp, cold - only 3°C when I was having a chat with my daughter this morning, slowly went up to 7°C later.
Made red lentil and vegetable soup for lunch, very satisfying!
Phone chat with Jo and The Sailor this afternoon who were down on the coast and it sounded as if it was as cold as Anglesey :-((
Started knitting “the cake” this morning - there’s another birthday in a few weeks time and this might make a fun gift - we’ll see how it turns out …
