Shades of summer....

.....basking under a warm sun, blooms attracting birds and bees bringing life to a place of peace.

It was lovely to catch up with blipfriend JMK today, we chatted over lunch then decided to wander through the fifth oldest cemetery of Christchurch. I was amazed at all the flowers with vibrant shades mingling with softer pastels. As we wandered bees collected pollen, sparrows and finches flitted amongst seed heads and rested on headstones, a gentle breeze carried the song of our native bird the tui sitting in surrounding trees, so much colour and life.....peace.
