Hellebore

I finally took the Christmas tree down today, and the living room looks so forlorn. We need a new lamp or a string of twinkling lights or something to brighten things up. Part of the reason I finally did this work today was that the high was 74 degrees, and that does not count as winter, even for here.  

We read about the tsunami warning and saw photos of some local flooding at the harbor, but I did not go down there to take a look (or a photo).
