Early start

We started early to be ahead of the crowd a little and to avoid the traffic jam going back. 

Our chosen snowshoe hike was totally overcrowded with people going ski touring. Very quickly we decided we do not want to be in the way of the skiers neither up nor down, and so we dropped the snowshoes back in the car and went winter hiking instead. 

Good choice - there was a lot of peak bagging going on around us, but as walkers we were early enough to be one of the first ones, and when we approached the frozen lake Partnun, we were the only ones there. So peaceful! 

Back in time to pay a visit to my horse Farina, have a snooze, and then to look at the traffic jam outside. All the Swiss roads were totally jammed from the afternoon on!!! Terrible. 

What a beautiful day with my two-legged and four-legged loves.
