Derelict Sunday

For several days I have noticed a murmuration from my study window. And I had a rough idea of the location . So this afternoon I met up with sue and we had a wander along the Tarka Trail, to roughly where I thought the birds were meeting up. I'm afraid to say we didn't see them today .

A nice selection of birds on the river Taw edge, tide was out so they were exploring before it came back in again. We were losing light so back to the cars, and home for a welcome cup of tea. :-)
