Hunstanton beach with lighthouse

Hunstanton is a curious place, in fact dare I say one of the strangest places I have ever been in the UK. Up until last night Norfolk could not have been less of the place that common folklore says it is, in fact it was most definitely the opposite with smart businesses run by smart people with clever ideas. Then however we got to Hunstanton and within 3 hours we had met a whole sitcoms worth of strange people.

The hotel owner who looked like an extra from a 60's band with a wonderfully blunt manner, the cafe owner who was obsessed with panini bread because someone had given him a review that said it wasn't panini bread. "It is panini bread we just grill it rather than squash it", it wasn't panini bread, we think someone sold him a load of finger rolls and told him it was panini bread and to finish the car park attendent who looked like Jaws from the James Bond films and managed to be every Norfolk stereotype ever within the 30 seconds we were talking to him!

What I will say however is that away from the town the beaches are stunning and the cliffs in their 3 different colours majestic. Last lighthouse of the trip as well, I think we must be edging 275 now!

Once again thank you for all the comments I will catch up tomorrow.
